JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 19-07-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs - "(i) To command the respondents to do their statutory obligations in exercising of their powers to facilitate the problems of the petitioner.
(ii) To command the respondent no. 4 not to sit over the matter which is still pending for last five years. (iii) To direct the respondent no. 4 to grant the licence of fair price shop under the Public Distribution System to the petitioner which is still pending after the remand of the case by the respondent no. 2 in the year of 2008.
(iv) To direct the respondent no. - 4 to grant the licence to the petitioner after completing the formalities of the rules of the control order - 2001.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.
3. Having regard to the nature of the prayer made in the writ petition, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has approached this Court after inordinate delay of six years in the year 2014 and hence, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner on account of delay and laches on his part.
