The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Kateya P.S. Case No. 110/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that Jarina Khatoon was married with Manjoor Ansari three years ago, but her husband and other in-laws killed her due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is submitted that petitioner is sister-in-law (Gotni) of the deceased. Petitioner has no manner of concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. No specific allegation is made against the petitioner.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner is sister-in-law (Gotni) of the deceased, the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48346 of 2016 (2) dt.15-12-2016 2/2 above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 110/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Vinita/- U T
