Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364/34 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The husband of the informant had gone along with the petitioner and co-accused, Jhapsi Rai and thereafter he did not return alive, rather his dead body was found. Submission is that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. During investigation, the informant stated that she had purchased ornaments from the shop of the petitioner and Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) was due against the informant and for that reason the petitioner had threatened of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27628 of 2019(3) dt.12-06-2019 2/2 consequences on non-payment of due amount. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Considering the material aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Ganga Bridge Police Station Case No.02 of 2019, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
