The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Rafiganj P.S. Case No.70 of 2017 registered under section 135 of the Bihar Electricity Act.

Regard being had to the allegation made in the first information report that the petitioner had been found consuming electric energy by cutting main service wire before the meter, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42024 of 2017 (2) dt.03-10-2017 2/2 shall be considered on its own merits with being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
