2. This writ petition has been filed for payment of statutory interest on the arrears of gratuity paid to the petitioner.

3. The petitioner is stated to have retired on 31.01.2020 on attaining the age of superannuation while working as Assistant Teacher in Middle School, Kurha,

Patna High Court CWJC No.6419 of 2024 dt.01-05-2024 2/2 Hazaribagh in the State of Jharkhand.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has been paid gratuity amount by the State Bank of India, Ramnagar Branch, Hazaribagh on being authorized by the Treasury Officer, Hazaribagh, Government of Jharkhand.

Since, the petitioner was an employee of the Government of Jharkhand and the gratuity to the petitioner also having been paid by the State Bank of India, Ramnagar Branch, Hazaribagh on being authorized by the Treasury Officer, Hazaribagh, Government of Jharkhand, this writ petition is hereby disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Jharkhand High Court, if so advised.
