It is contended on behalf of the University that admissible dues of the petitioner would be calculated and paid within a period of three months from the date of filing of representation in this regard by the petitioner.

Petitioner claims to have retired as University Professor in the year 2003 but some of the dues have not been paid compelling the petitioner to ventilate his grievance before this Court.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5324 of 2016 dt.20-05-2016 2 / 2 Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the Registrar of the University by filing a detailed representation regarding his claim which should be considered and payment of admissible amount along with the statutory interest, if any, would be ensured by the Registrar of the University within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation along with a copy of this order. Failure on part of the respondents to pay the admissible dues of the petitioner would entitle him for simple interest @ 10% per annum on the admissible unpaid amount from the date the other similarly situated persons have been granted such benefit.
