Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56928 of 2015(5) dt.02-02-2021 2/3 This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. of Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 356 of 2015 dated 10.06.2015 instituted for the offences under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 /4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
On 04.11.2020, notice was issued to opposite party no. 2 for her appearance before this Court on 13.01.2021.
It appears from the office notes that requisites for notice has also not been filed.
It appears that the petitioners have lost interest in the matter.
Otherwise also, this is a case of the year 2015 and in all its probability, the investigation of this case must have been completed by now. In case the investigation is still pending, the investigating agency is directed to conclude the same within a period of four months from today. In case the petitioners are aggrieved by any order of the court below, they would be entitled to take recourse to the remedies which are available to them under the law.
