The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bairiya P.S. Case No. 211 of 2020 dated 09.05.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 356, 379, 411, 413, 414 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The mobile telephone of the informant was snatched away by two miscreants, one of whom was apprehended. The aforesaid person disclosed his name as Guddu Yadav. The petitioner is sought to be prosecuted in this case on the basis of confession made by aforesaid Guddu Yadav. The motorcycle used in the crime also does not belong to the petitioner.

The petitioner is a person of clean antecedents. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Bairiya P.S. Case No. 211 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
