2. This application has been filed for quashing the First Information Report bearing Ram Krishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 610 of 2022 dated 04.11.2022 registered u/s 135/138 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and further to quash all the consequential proceeding attached to the aforesaid criminal case.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has deposited the entire amount demanded by the Electricity company and the offence may be compounded by the Electricity company.

4. In these circumstances, this application is disposed

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.799 of 2023(3) dt.26-06-2025 2/2 of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Authority of the Electricity company for compounding of the offence.

5. If such an application is filed before the concerned Authority by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by the concerned Authority within 15 days of filing.

6. Further proceedings of the concerned Court below in connection with Ram Krishna Nagar P.S. Case No.610 of 2022 shall remain stayed for one month.
