On 05.11.2020, the following order was passed by a coordinate bench of this Court:

Heard Mr. Brajesh Kumar Singh, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Ms. Rina Sinha, learned APP for the State.

This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. of Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 209 of 2013 dated 20.09.2013 instituted for the offence under Sections 498(A), 323 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53408 of 2015(4) dt.16-03-2023 2/2 Dowry Prohibition Act.

Issue notice to opposite party no. 2 under registered cover with A/D as well as ordinary process, subject to steps being taken by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today, returnable on 16.01.2021.

In the meantime, learned Advocate for the petitioner shall also take information about the stage of the case and shall inform this Court on the next date.

Re-notify on 16th of January, 2021.

The office report says that no requisite was filed for issuance of the notice upon the opposite party no. 2 as directed by a coordinate bench of this Court on 05.11.2020. It seems that the petitioner has lost all interest in the case in view of the fact that for the last two and half years, no step was taken to comply the order.

The petition, as such stands dismissed.
