The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27164 of 2020(4) dt.15-03-2021 2/3 406 & 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
All the petitioners in association of husband of the complainant are said to have mentally and physically tortured the complainant on non-fulfillment of dowry demand and lastly ousted her from the matrimonial house.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. Petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case due to family feud. The allegation levelled against the petitioners is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. All the petitioners are in-laws of the complainant. As a matter of fact, the husband of the complainant is working at Panchkula and the complainant also used to live with her husband. All the petitioners are separated from her husband. He also submitted that the matter was referred to the DLSA but could not be settled. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the
