This is an application seeking quashing of the FIR of Barachatti P.S. Case No. 258 of 2016 dated 17.07.2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 279, 427, 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Mr. Satyendra Narayan Singh, learned APP for the State has pointed out that this is a case of the year 2016 and in all its probability the investigation must have been completed by now.

If at all the investigation is still incomplete, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43677 of 2016(2) dt.18-09-2020 2/2 same ought to be concluded within a period of three months. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by any order, he would have the liberty to avail of the remedies to which he is entitled.

The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
