The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Bhawanipur P.S. Case No. 286/2015 registered under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Md. Mansoor Alam, the informant, named 10 persons and alleged that they all entered into the house of the informant and began to abuse. Runo Mandal and Pintu Mandal (the petitioners) assaulted the mother of the informant with bamboo stick and axe. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is a counter-version. Many persons from the side of the petitioners were injured but it appears from perusal of the case diary and the injury report that Amina Khatoon, the mother of the informant, got grievous injury on her head.

Considering the facts that the petitioners are author of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39422 of 2016 (3) dt.20-10-2016 2/2 grievous injury found on the head of the mother of the informant, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in Bhawanipur P.S. Case No. 286 of 2015. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
