2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Dalsingsarai P.S. Case No. 399/2024 dated 28.12.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 126(2), 115(2) and 109 of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, when the informant's son was returning from market, the petitioner assaulted him with danda due to which he fell down. Thereafter, the petitioner tried to flee away from his car, in the meantime, the informant's son tried to stop the car by snatching the key of the vehicle. Thereafter, the petitioner with an intent to kill caught the neck of the informant's son and dragged him on the road and dashed him

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned counsel has submitted that the son of the informant was riding his motorcycle rashly in the market and unfortunately he was dashed by the petitioner's car and got injured. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 29.12.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner. As per the Injury Report, the injuries are grievous in nature.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Samastipur in connection with Dalsingsarai P.S. Case No. 399/2024 dated 28.12.2024, with the condition ;- (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable
