What the petitioner alleges in the writ petition is that the respondents have not initiated any encroachment proceeding in respect of the subject land. On perusal of Annexures-1 and 2, it appears, on a prayer made by the petitioner and others, a Measurement Case No. 39/2012-13 was initiated in which upon deposit of the cost, land was measured by the Anchal Amin and a report (Annexure-3) has been submitted. It does not appear from the record that any proceeding for removal of encroachment on

Patna High Court CWJC No.21532 of 2013 (2) dt.27-06-2016 2/2 public land was initiated.

If the petitioner has grievance relating to encroachment on the public land, he may approach the competent authority for initiation of the encroachment proceeding in accordance with law.

Writ application stands disposed of.
