In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No.29 of 2018 (G.R. No.146 of 2018), registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B) and a/26 of the Arms Act.
As per the F.I.R., on account of taking possession of land there was an exchange of firing between the side of Ajay Kumar and Sunil Prasad. The Police received the information and went there. When the Police was contemplating to arrest them both sides have fled away from there. When search was made, from the house of the petitioner the arm has been recovered.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18728 of 2018(2) dt.05-04-2018 2/2 Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
