JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 22-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Raniganj P.S. Case No. 125 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 354(B), 379, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged in the written report that this petitioner assaulted the informant with iron rod, as a result of which, she sustained injury over her head and blood started oozing out. The injury report has been enclosed as Annexure-3 wherein the doctor has found lacerated wound size 3 1⁄2" x 1/2" x 1/2" (bone deep) in right parietal region and patient become unconscious and vomiting once. There is specific allegation against the petitioner of assaulting the informant who is a lady with iron rod.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

Petitioner may surrender before the court below and make prayer for regular bail.
