Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 147 of 1997 registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in this case on suspicion. Petitioner has no criminal history. He had no knowledge about the case and charge sheet has been submitted showing him absconder.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is named in the first information report and charge-sheet has been submitted

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Manish/- U T
