JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-12-2023 Heard Mr. Shailendra Kumar Dwivedi, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Shekhar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent no.5 and Mr. Sajid Salim Khan, learned SC- 25 appearing on behalf of the respondent/s.

2. Petitioner has filed the writ petition for the following reliefs:

i. For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction including the writ in the nature of certiorari to quashing the impugned order dated 11.01.2023 as contained in Annexure-P/1 passed by respondent no.5

ii. For a direction to the respondent to declare the petitioner as Sewait/Mahanth of Sri Ram Janaki @ Belwan Bihari Thakurwadi, situated at village - Salempur, P.S. Tekari, District - Gaya.

iii. For grant of other relief/reliefs in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Mr. Shekhar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Bihar State Board of Religious Trust at the outset submits that the writ petition will become infructuous, because life of the committee of Sri Ram Janki @ Belwan Bihar Thakurwadi, situated in Gaya will come to an end in January, 2024.

4. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.

5. From perusal of the pleadings made in the writ petition, it appears that the petitioner has shown his concern that the Sri Ram Janki @ Belwan Bihar Thakurwadi owns a total area of 17.47 acres of land in the name of Sri Ram Janki.

6. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the President of the Bihar State Board of Religious Trust, by which the respondent no.5 has been made the Chairman of the Temporary Committee. The petitioner has also claimed his entitlement to become the Chairman of the said Committee.

7. Considering the fact that the Committee was temporary and dispute has already been decided, if the petitioner is aggrieved he can avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.
