Aggrieved with Memo No.784 dated 02.05.2022 issued under the signature of Deputy Development Commissioner, Patna, so far it relates to the petitioner, whereby a direction has been issued to deposit a sum of Rs.72,528/- to the petitioner as also directing the authorities concerned to institute an FIR, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition. The challenge has also been made to Memo No.785 dated 02.05.2022 whereby direction has been issued to execute the recovery of subjected amount.

Mr. Abhinav Raj, learned Advocate for the petitioner, at the outset, fairly contended that during the pendency of the writ petition, certain development has taken place, pursuant to which the petitioner has preferred a review application before the Secretary, Rural Development Department, Bihar, Patna on 18.09.2024 for review in the matter based on the report of the SQM, Rural Works Department, which is pending consideration till date.

4. In view of the aforesaid fact, the learned Advocate for the petitioner confined his prayer to the expeditious disposal of the review application, in accordance with law.

5. Considering the submissions advanced and taking note of the limited grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the Secretary, Rural Development Department, Bihar, Patna, to look into the matter and dispose off the review application of the petitioner dated 18.09.2024 in accordance with law, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petition stands disposed off.
