JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 12-12-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order no. 554/2021 issued under signature of Disciplinary Authority cum Senior Superintendent of Police Muzaffarpur communicated through memo no. 1283 dated 13-3-2021 to petitioner by which punishment of seizure of 1 year increment has been awarded by differing the enquiry report submitted by enquiry officer. Such punishment order has been passed without issuing 2nd show cause notice and without passing reasoned order of punishment and thus order passed was cryptic,

Patna High Court CWJC No.7306 of 2022(2) dt.12-12-2023 2/2 non speaking and violative of principle of natural justice.

(ii). For issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus seeking direction to respondents to release 1 year increment which has been seized by awarding punishment in most mechanical manner without considering and discussing enquiry report."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to paragraph no. 16 of the present writ petition to submit that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the appellate authority, hence, the same be directed to be disposed off within a period of eight weeks from today. It is directed accordingly. 3.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
