2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Naugachia P.S. Case No. 170 of 2019 instituted under Sections 406, 420, 413, 414, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 22.05.2019 by the informant, Anjani Devi.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant went to withdraw of money from ICICI ATM at Naugachia Bazar. After she withdrew of Rs.10,000/- and wanted further withdrawal, the ATM machine stuck. Meanwhile, 7-8 persons youngsters came pulled out the ATM card and set to put the pin code. Once, the informant put the pin code, they escaped with the ATM card. As she raised hulla, some of them were apprehended and gave the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25509 of 2025(2) dt.07-05-2025 2/2 name of the persons escaped, the petitioner included. This led to the FIR.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner tries to show his innocence but Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh, learned APP has taken this Court to the FIR to show that it has been lodged in the year 2019 and six years later, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. Taking into account the aforesaid facts as also that the Police in the supervision note has named this petitioner, in that background, this Court is not inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail which is accordingly rejected. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
