That the instant writ application is being filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the concerned authorities to pay the salary of the petitioner for the period 29.12.2012 to 29.07.2013 since similarly situated persons have been paid for the same and for the necessary relief / reliefs to which the petitioner is entitled." At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities, in case the lis is still alive. Liberty so sought is granted.
