Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 04 of 2019 registered for the offence under section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by a Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 45254 of 2019 (Annexure-1) on 29.07.2019 with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial within a period of nine months, but after lapse of 11 months, the
