1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. The appeal of the petitioner against the order of termination, filed before the Secretary, Co-operative Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, is pending consideration for the last one year. The present petition has been for a direction to the Secretary, Co-operative Department, Government of Bihar, Patna to dispose of the appeal, which has been preferred by the petitioner against order of termination of service.

3. The appeal preferred by the petitioner ought to

Patna High Court CWJC No.7616 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 be disposed off. It is already too late in the day for keeping such appeal pending by the Secretary, Co-operative Department.

4. Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file a two pages affidavit, annexing a copy of this order, before the Secretary, Cooperative Department, Government of Bihar, Patna (Respondent No. 1), with a request to dispose of the appeal preferred by him, within a period of two weeks from today. On receipt of the order of this Court, the appeal shall be disposed off by the concerned respondent, within a further period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
