The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Udwant Nagar PS case no. 191 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation in the present case is that four FIR named accused persons had conspired together and killed the mother-in-law of the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not an FIR named accused person and her name has transpired subsequently during the course of investigation. It is further submitted that similarly situated accused person namely,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4862 of 2018 (3) dt.21-02-2018 2/2 Manjeet Singh @ Manjeet Kumar @ Manjit Kr. Singh has been granted bail by this Court by an order dated 19.12.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 61164 of 2017 and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender before the concerned court within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Udwant Nagar PS case no. 191 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure.
