JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-09-2023 The learned counsel for the Respondent-State seeks to file a counter affidavit, duly sworn by the District Magistrate Saran at Chapra, which is taken on record.

In compliance of the earlier order of this Court dated 5.9.2023, passed in the present case, the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra has worked out the compensation in lieu of illegal demolition of the house of the petitioner to the tune of a sum of Rs. 95,124/- and the cheque for the same has been produced before this Court, which has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the Respondent-State has further submitted that the Revenue Karmachari has been suspended and charges in Praptra 'Ka' has been framed against the then Circle Officer, Dighwara, Saran, and sent to the Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperative Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, for necessary action.

Accordingly, the Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperative Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, is directed to ensure needful action in the matter within a period of one week from today, with due intimation to the Ld. Registrar General of this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at the moment, the grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed, however, he be granted liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies, as are available under the law, for the purposes of redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
