The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 470 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation has been made that wrongly the petitioners and others distributed the relief to those persons who were affected by flood but later on it transpires that they has wrongly paid the money to affected persons. From the record it appears that out of eight persons, seven persons have not received the money. Reena Devi has already returned the money.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18690 of 2018 (2) dt.05-04-2018 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioners, namely, Reena Devi and Beby Devi, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Alauli P.S. Case No.343 of 2017, G.R. No. 3006 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal procedure.
