Mr. Dhurjati Kumar Prasad, learned GP-14 is present for the State.

Petitioners in this case are aggrieved by and dissatisfied with the order as contained in Letter No. 2040 dated 22.09.2011 (Annexure- '1' to the writ application). It appears on perusal of Annexure- '1' itself that the petitioners were engaged as Special Police Officer (S.P.O.)

Patna High Court CWJC No.20221 of 2011(3) dt.13-02-2023 2/2 during the period 10.08.2011 to 31.08.2011.

Learned counsel for the State submits that there engagement was on purely temporary basis for a fixed period, therefore, on completion of the period the contractual engagement came to an end. There is no extension and these engagements were under S.R.E Scheme of Bharat Sarkaar. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds no merit in this writ application. It is dismissed accordingly.
