The petitioner has prayed as under :

(i) For issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to make payment of daily wages of the petitioner for which they have taken work with interest.

(ii) For any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioners are found entitled in the eye of law.

Patna High Court CWJC No.21628 of 2013(2) dt.06-02-2023 2/2 The counter affidavit has been filed whereby it is informed that enquiry was conducted with regard to the nonpayment and the In-Charge, the District Animal Husbandry Officer, West Champaran at Bettiah, vide his letter dated 09.09.2016 as placed on record reflects that the petitioner worked for 556 days from 1992 upto 1996 and the daily wages for the period has been released in his favour, whereafter he has already been confirmed on the post.

Keeping in view the statement made in the counter affidavit as noticed above, the writ petition has been rendered as infructuous and is accordingly dismissed.
