A counter affidavit is being filed on behalf of the respondent-State of Bihar, let it be kept on record. The petitioner retired as University Professor while serving in the Department of English, R. K. College, Madhubani, a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. It is his claim that his arrears of pension with effect from 01.04.2007 to July, 2012, which accrued because of revision in the pay scale after introduction of Sixth Pay
Patna High Court CWJC No.18556 of 2015 dt.12-05-2016 2/2 Commission Report, have not been paid. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that for the said period, the petitioner was paid only 46 per cent of pension and 54 per cent of the pension has remained unpaid.
Considering the relief sought for in the present application, it is being disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, to ensure that all admissible dues of the petitioner are cleared within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before him. The Registrar of the University is also directed to supply to the petitioner the details of calculation with respect to the petitioner's claim at the time of payment of the amount in terms of the present direction.
