The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Ghailadh O.P. (Madhepura) P.S. Case No.973 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a/26/27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is said to have fired upon the sister-inlaw (Gotni) of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that though there is allegation against the petitioner of firing upon the sister-in-law (Gotni) of the informant, no injury

Taking into consideration the fact that specific allegation of firing is against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J.) Sanjay/- U T
