JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL ORDER 24-01-2023 The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed as under:- (a) For issuance of writ/writs, direction/directions or order/orders particularly in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to make payment of arrears of salary in pay scale of 4000-6000 and corresponding pay scale after six pay revision w.e.f 01.04.2007 for the period of 01.12.2002 to 30.06.2010 alongwith the penal interest @ 18% per annum for the inordinate delay on the part of respondents."

A counter affidavit has been filed wherein it has been stated in para-9 as under:-

Patna High Court CWJC No.20633 of 2013(2) dt.24-01-2023 2/2 "It is also stated that an amount of Rs.8,41,220/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Forty One Thousand Two Hundred Twenty) has already been paid to the petitioner in lieu of his admissible salary and arrears thereof for the period of 01.12.2002 to 30.06.2010 on admissible pay scale by the Block Development Officer, Akbarpur, Nawada and in this regard, the petitioner has not raised any objection."

Keeping in view the above, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
