Service Appeal No 2 of 2016 has been preferred by the petitioner before the Divisional Commissioner, Gaya (Appellate Authority) and is pending since the last about three years. Short submission by the petitioner's counsel is that the respondent be directed to dispose of the same. The fact that the petitioner is required to approach this Court with such a prayer is a reflection of the indifference with

Patna High Court CWJC No.8424 of 2019(2) dt.11-07-2019 2/2 which the matter is dealt with by the Authority. However, for the moment, this Court would not go into that issue. Suffice it to say that respondent No 3 should dispose of the petitioner's appeal expeditiously, without any undue delay by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law.
