The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laheriyasarai P.S. Case No. 659 of 2022 instituted for the offence under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468 & 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case in a nutshell is that petitioner is the member of the group, who enabled one 'Rohit Kumar' in getting forged medical fitness certificate from the Sadar Hospital, Chapra.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 30-01-2024. Petitioner bears two criminal antecedents, as per disclosure made in paragraph No. 3 of the bail application.

It has been further submitted by the petitioner's counsel that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. Petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case during the course of investigation and on the basis of his self-confessional statement that he has taken Rs. 2,000/- from 'Rohit Kumar', and the same has no evidentiary value. Petitioner is an X-ray technician in Sadar Hospital, Chapra employed on contract basis.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. 7.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, period of custody of the petitioner and manner of petitioner's implication, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Laheriyasarai P.S. Case No. 659 of 2022.
