Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 960 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under sections 120B, 420, 467, 471 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case because coaccused Shyam Narayan Rai had earlier lodged a complaint case against the present opposite party no. 2 in which the present petitioner is a witness. There is admitted land dispute between the parties. Petitioner is a man of clean antecedent.
