Apprehending his arrest in connection with Samastipur Town P.S. Case No.65/17, registered under Sections 147,353,504 and 506 of the I.P.C., the petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a case of police atrocity. Allegations levelled against the petitioner are concocted. A complaint case has also been lodged by the petitioner against the informant of the present case. Learned APP for the State, on the other hand, states that the petitioner has chequered criminal background. Considering the nature of the allegation as also the antecedents of the petitioner as spelt out in para 3, the Court
