1. The petitioner way of this writ petition prays to select him on the post of Block Agriculture Coordinator, in terms of the Advertisement issued on 17.08.2013, claiming that his merit was wrongly calculated.
2. A reply has been filed stating that the degree awarded to the petitioner is from a Foreign Country, which has not been recognized an equivalent to Graduate degree from a recognized Agriculture University/College/Institution. Further, it has been stated that the post was a contractual post.
3. Keeping in view of the contents of the counter affidavit, this Court satisfied that the conditions of
Patna High Court CWJC No.20852 of 2013(2) dt.24-01-2023 2/2 Advertisement were not satisfied, as it provided for the candidates should possesses a degree of Agriculture from a recognized Institute. The qualification acquired by the petitioner are not recognized by the Government of India, as he has obtained the same from U.S.S.R.
4. No rejoinder has been filed to contest the counter affidavit.
5 In view thereof, no case for interference is made out. The writ petition is found to be devoid of merits and accordingly dismissed.
