2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 161 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, the marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with co-accused Munna Sahani on 06.05.2023 and after some days of marriage, all the named accused in the FIR including this petitioner started torturing the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of a motorcycle as dowry. On 07.07.2023, the informant received an information from a villager that due to non-fulfillment of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34509 of 2024(4) dt.30-07-2024 2/2 demand of dowry, the matrimonial family members of her daughter has committed her murder. Thereafter, the informant went to matrimonial house of her daughter, where she found that none was present.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a co-villager having no concern with the family matters of the couple. He has falsely been implicated merely because he is familiar with the family of husband of the deceased. The petitioner is under custody since 10.02.2024 and he is a person of clean antecedent.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Sadar Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 161 of 2023, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
