The petitioner seeks bail in Sarmera P.S. Case No. 101 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 8 of the POCSO Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner abducted the minor daughter of informant for the purpose of marriage. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no such occurrence has taken place. The victim girl has been recovered and in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C she has admitted that upon a mobile call she had gone with this petitioner and there is no allegation of sexual assault or harassment against this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 01.05.2020.

Case No. 101 of 2020.
