JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. (i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 09.09.13 (Annexure10) vide Memo No-124 passed by Programme Officer, (MNREGS), BlockMahua, District-Vaishali (Respondent No. 6) in which petitioner has been directed to deposit the defalcated amount of Rs. 5,31,6,76.00 (Five lakhs thirty one thousand six hundred seventy six) only within 10 days of receiving the copy of this order failing

(ii) For issuance of appropriate writ for quashing the order dated 21.08.12 (Annexure-9) issued vide memo No.

998 /MNGERS, Hajipur passed by the Dy.

Development Commissioner, Vaishali (Respondent No. 3) by which petitioner has been terminated from his contractual post of Panchayat Rojgar Sewak (hereinafter referred as PRS)."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the Ld. Civil Court having competent jurisdiction, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances.

Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
