In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Special Case No. 60 of 2019 arising from Thakurganj P.S. Case No. 23 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner was coming on motor cycle and when he saw the police party, he turned down and fled away. The petitioner has criminal history.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail, the court below
