The petitioner has been in custody since 15.12.2018 in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 42 of 2017 registered for the offense punishable under Sections 25(i)(a), 25(1-B)a, 25(1-B), C, 26(i)(ii) of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is merely a student and has been falsely implicated in this case and no illegal arms was recovered from his possession, but the seizure-list was illegally handed over to the petitioner's family members and since the said period, the petitioner has been taken into custody and is languishing in jail. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances and considering the period of custody and that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent, let the petitioner
