2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Murliganj PS Case No. 51/2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 392 and 411 of the IPC.

3. The allegation, as per First Information Report, is that while the informant and his cousin, Amod Kumar Jha was going to their home on the motorcycle, they were intercepted by three accused persons who were on one TVS motorcycle. It is further alleged that the accused persons on the point of pistol snatched the motorcycle of the informant and fled away. The police arrested one person namely, Vikash Ram with

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence in the manner alleged and he has falsely been implicated in this case with oblique motive. Learned counsel referring to the supplementary affidavit submits that the motorcycle which has allegedly been snatched from the informant belongs to one Shravan Kumar and not the informant and the petitioner has purchased the said motorcycle from the said Shravan Kumar.

5. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent inasmuch is not having any antecedent of similar nature. Learned counsel also submits that petitioner is in custody since 15.02.2020.

6. Having regard to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the material on record and the fact that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent of similar nature and is in custody since 15.02.2020, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, VIKASH RAM be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23819 of 2020(4) dt.10-11-2020 3/3 connection with Murliganj PS Case No. 51/2020.

8. It is made clear that at the time of furnishing bail bonds all the parties shall follow the guidelines of social distancing.
