1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed as under:- "1. That the instant Writ Application is being filed for the following reliefs :- (i) For issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction / directions commanding the respondents to pay arrears of salary of petitioner from September 2011 to February 2012 with statutory interest and consequential benefits, if any, in view of the fact that the petitioner has served the department as Financial Consultant under the District Agriculture Officer, Muzaffarpur

Patna High Court CWJC No.20799 of 2013(2) dt.24-01-2023 2/2 (Respondent No. 4) and has been removed from the said post vide memo no.- 2729/Kri, Patna dated 28.06.2012 but till date the aforesaid arrears of his salary has not been paid inspite of several representations and reminders.

(ii) FOR any other relief/reliefs for which the Petitioner is entitled under law."

Counter affidavit has been filed, placing on record that the amount for the said period has been released along with arrears from 2011 till 2012 of a sum of Rs. 1,13, 954/- (One lakh thirteen thousand nine hundred fifty four). Copy of the Cheque issue in favour of the petitioner has also been placed.

4. Keeping in view thereto, this Court finds that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. The writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
