The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 76 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 37 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2023 and the allegation is only of drinking against him.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Excise Court-I, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 76 of 2023.
