JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-06-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this application is being filed for quashing the order dated 13/03/2013 contained in memo no. 773 /P1 Patna dated 15/03/2013 issued under the signature of the Assistant Inspector General of Police whereby although the petitioner was given promotion in selection grade and Seargeant Major w.e.f. 01/05/1982 and 04/11/1991 respectively, however he was not given the consequential financial benefits from the said dates; for directing the respondent authorities to give consequential financial benefits to the petitioner w.e.f. the dates
Patna High Court CWJC No.23521 of 2013(2) dt.23-06-2023 2/2 01/05/1982 and 04/11/1991 when he was given selection grade and promotion as Seargeant Major; for directing the respondent authorities to grant to the petitioner the benefit under the Assured Career Progression (ACP) scheme and for grant of all consequential benefits to which the petitioner is found entitled in course of hearing of this writ application."
At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
