The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 341/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against Pappu and unknown persons that they have caught hold the informant and assaulted mercilessly. There is direct allegation against petitioner no.1, Pappu.

Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner no.1 Pappu is rejected.

There is no direct allegation against petitioner no.2, namely, Sanjar.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11993 of 2018 (3) dt.28-02-2018 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner no.2, namely, Sanjar, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.590 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
