2. The petitioners, who are the aspirants for the post of Home Guard in terms with Advertisement no. 02 of 2011, approached this Court seeking quashing of the final merit list of the Home Guard duly prepared at the block level, instead of
Patna High Court CWJC No.7356 of 2025 dt.04-08-2025 2/3 district level contrary to the decision rendered by this Court in the case of Manjay Kumar & Another Vs. The State of Bihar & Others (C.W.J.C. No. 11645 of 2019) and other analogous cases.
3. Learned Advocate for the petitioners submitted that identically situated persons approached this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 872 of 2025, which came to be disposed off on 21.02.2025 with a direction to District Magistrate cumChairman, District Selection Committee, Munger (respondent no.4) to consider and decide the claim of the petitioners in the light of the observations made by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 11645 of 2019 and decide the same as early as possible preferably within 60 days from the date of submission of such applications.
4. Learned Advocate for the State did not confront the factual aspect of the decision passed by this Court, aforenoted.
5. Considering the submissions set forth, the present writ petition stands disposed off in identical term with identical direction as follows:
"4. Considering the above submissions made by the counsel of the petitioners it would be appropriate to
Patna High Court CWJC No.7356 of 2025 dt.04-08-2025 3/3 dispose of the petition giving liberty to the petitioners to firstly make their representation before the respondent no. 4, accordingly, the petition is disposed of, petitioners are directed to firstly make their representation before the respondent no. 4 raising all grounds which they raised in this writ petition within four weeks from today and in turn the respondent no. 4 is also directed to consider and decide the same taking into consideration the observation made by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of CWJC No.
11645 of 2019 (supra) and decide the same as early as possible probably within 60 days from the submission of such applications."
6. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
