The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 354(B) and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that F.I.R. was lodged after delay of two days and the allegation, so far as under Section 354(B) is concerned, is merely ornamental in nature as it is highly improbable that due to dispute with respect to cleaning of drainage, the petitioner would try to outrage the modesty of the informant. It is further contended that so far snatching the golden chain is concerned, that is also merely ornamental in nature. It is urged that petitioner is having clean

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today in Katihar Town (S) P.S. Case No. 277/16, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
